Bullying has become a growing problem in the world. Now bullying takes place in places outside the school yard. You do not understand the effects it can have on the human mind until you have been a victim of it. Constantly we only talk about the Bully and the Victim, but not often do we talk about the other people that are involved. In a situation where bullying takes place there are 4 types of people, the Bully, the Victim, the Bystander and the person who gets in the middle of it. That 4th person in most situations sadly does not make an appearance, if that role was taken, bullying might actually be a minor factor in life, maybe not a factor at all. Even if bullying could stop if that person moved, did something, didn't stand their and watch, still, static, irrelevant, and just as bad as the bully. What are the effects when these different roles and what effect do they have on the world? Find out by reading this blog, and stop bullying, don't be a bystander.
Personally I have been all 4 of those roles and almost every person goes trough it each day. People say that just kids bully. No, adults bully just as much. In school systems their are teachers that believers, regular, and fundamentalists. Fundamentalists are the bully's, when believers have good ideas or take action and never give up on a student they get bullied by the fundamentalists. The fundamentalists discharge the ideas, unfairly criticize them for their actions, and just harass the believers for things that may not. Bullying is everywhere!
Bullying can exist on the smallest of kilobytes traveling through the web containing a hurtful message, or on the scale where the people involved have nuclear weapons at their disposal. No matter how small or large, the concept is the same, and the effects remain. So now the Human Race has a choice to make, We can stop the bullying, stop the abuse, eliminate the conflict, change a mindset, and create an era of peace that will last for an eternity. The other option is to keep the fire going, continue picking at each other, eat away each bite of dignity that we have that makes us human, demolish the earth, and ultimately, destroy ourselves.

What To Do During a Bullying Situation Regardless of Your Role.
http://www.ncvc.org/tvp/main.aspx?dbName=Bullying
This article is great. I had been trying just to find articles that address a different specific role but this article has every role. It has tons of information for each role as well as steps and ways to take action if you become one of the roles. The authors view point is that the author thinks that bullying needs but understands that not everyone knows what to do when that situation comes. The author also understands the logic of each role. So for those who don't know what to do, her purpose is to inform her audience about bullying and how to be proactive. The main idea is obviously bullying (that didn't really take a lot of thinking!) Their really is no slant or bias to the article other than she is mostly talking anti-bullying methods. This article is very informative and to anyone who is involved in bullying or just interested in this intense topic, read it because it really will help. Hopefully it will assist you when the time comes and you are brought into bullying situation. Be proactive and help make the world a better place.

A Powerful Video That We Can All Learn From
http://www.ksdk.com/dontmiss/291152/193/YouTube-video-about-bullying-provides-teachable-moment
Response of “Powerful Video” by Art Holliday, KSDK
I just read an article on a 14 year old boy named Jonah Mowry; he posted a video on YouTube. He had been bullied since 1st grade and had enough courage to post a video expressing his pain. News Reporter Art Holliday saw the video and decided to do a story on it called “Powerful Video. Art asks Middle school students about how they feel. As well as a Leader in the Gay Community and a teacher who specializes in Anti-bullying. Art states that the video “touched an international nerve” The video had over 7,000,000 hits and counting, people from all over the globe watched as well as celebrities. The viewpoint of this article is from a person who is not involved but strongly feels that bullying needs to stop. There is not really a slant or bias because the person who wrote the article is not really involved, he is not presently bullied or is a bully, but observes the worst of occasions. This article is part of a creditable news network. He is a news reporter, so he only interacts with the worst of bullying situations, where life or death is a large factor. I think his purpose is mostly to get people informed that bullying is a serious problem! Obviously the topic is bullying and the main idea is to get across his point that bullying is on the rise, and people of all sorts and kinds are affected by it. He is also trying to get his audience to join the fight against bullying and change the world for the better. I will post the link to it above; there is a video and an article. Watch it, get informed, and let’s get together and make a difference.

http://www.greatschools.org/parenting/bullying/593-the-bully-and-the-bystander.gs
Today I read a article on Bystanders. This article was call "The Bully and the Bystander" by Marian Wilde. The link to her article is posted above. This paper was very interesting because it directly addressed the logic of the Bystander and how they contribute to a Bullying situation. the article is
The viewpoint of this author is that she really dislikes Bullying and recognizes that its a major problem. She also feels that the bystander is the key to the weather bullying takes place or not. The main Idea is how bystanders contribute to a situation where conflict takes place, how if the bystander takes action and does something, the situation would drastically change. I don't think that it has a slant or bias because their is no conflicting evidence and she is not trying to persuade you, she is just informing us which is also the purpose. She is trying to inform us of different aspects of bullying, specifficy the bystanders role in the situation. Also Great Schools has been proven of being a reliable website, and the information is very accurate. Its accurate and quality beause they use citations and their is no slant at all.
Overall this is an incredible peice and i would recomend any one to read this, so click on the link and be ready to read a great article. The bystander is a very important role, if yout the bustander than your just as bad as bully, standing by and doing nothing is a terrible thing to do. It tells us that sometimes the bystander is too scared to get involved or do something, or they just don't know what to do. In the 21st century, now the bystander is getting more attention, victims get even more mad at the bystander than the bully for standing by and doing nothing. Once again, read the article, get informed, and keep on making the world a better place.
